TPO’S BENEFICIARIES SPREAD MESSAGES ABOUT PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!
As part of the 16-day Campaign from 25 November to 10 December 2015 to End Violence Against Women. TPO’s team has initiated for beneficiaries in a community project in Battambang province to speak out about what they want to appeal to End Violence Against Women: Ms Ly Keang, a member of one of TPO’s community Self Help Groups, who has experienced intimate partner violence wants to appeal “PLEASE TAKE SERIOUSLY ACTION AGAINST VIOLENT PERPETRATORS”. Her daughter also declared, “ I WANT MY PARENTS NOT TO ARGUE AND TO REBUILD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH EACH OTHER” including more messages from other women asking to stop domestic violence:  “WE NEED EQUAL RIGHTS IN SOCIETY”, “NO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE”, “SHOULD EDUCATE PERPETRATORS TO STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

TPO’s work in Battambang province training community members is funded by the Australian Government’s DFAT.
