 A comprehensive four-day introductory course to the principles, tools and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

What is this course about?

Course content:

  • introduction to psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • basic skills needed to use alongside CBT techniques
  • core concepts of CBT and how to use them in practice
  • client assessment tools and application of these tools
  • CBT tools and techniques
  • case formulation and the development of an intervention plan
  • structuring a CBT session

Method:

This course combines theory with practical exercises so participants will both expand their knowledge of CBT and be able to practice and apply CBT tools and techniques.

Who is this course for?

Counselors, nurses, medical assistants, doctors, psychologists, social workers, field workers, carers and anyone who needs to provide emotional support to others in their work or care for those with psychosocial or mental health problems, will benefit from this course.

Group size: 17 participants maximum.
Cost: 300 USD per person (including all material, refreshments & lunch).
A 10% discount applies to organizations enrolling a minimum of 4 people.
Language: Khmer
Certification: can be provided to those who complete all requirements.
